Re-industrialization, Cleaner Production and Use of New Material Technology in Textile

Fashion consumers nowadays have got increasing demands on green products in high quality. To meet customers’ expectations, manufacturers are in need of funding and technologies to upgrade their production processes and implement cleaner production. Textile Council of Hong Kong, Clothing Industry Training Authority (CITA), Knitwear Innovation and Design Society (KIDS) and Hongkong Knitwear Exporters & Manufacturers Association (HKKEMA) therefore co-organise this seminar to introduce the re-industrialization roadmap for Hong Kong SMEs and demonstrate how the new material technologies in textile could be applied in re-industrialization and cleaner production.
