“Artisan Leather Boot Workshop” starts in March!

The short course “Artisan Leather Boot Workshop” will commence on 21 March 2026! This course is designed for those interested in learning traditional shoemaking craftsmanship, teaching the classic hand-sewn welt construction method to enable participants to create their own pair of work boots.
The instructor will teach techniques including upper cutting, sole and insole design and construction, lasting, hand-stitching the upper, sole attachment, and rough finishing. Students will use provided patterns to progressively master hand-sewing techniques and custom-make a pair of work boots tailored to themselves.
