In this course students will learn the fundamental techniques of draping. They will start by creating a basic block on the mannequin through pinning, folding and clipping the fabric. Students will then drape their own dress by muslin.

- Differences between 2D and 3D pattern
- Basic tools
- Draping techniques for basic blocks (top and skirt)
- Using 3D pattern adaptation for making fabric mockup (dress)
